Alisha Lickwar, DNP, WHNP-BC, MSN, RN
Biography
Lecturer & Course Coordinator, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program
I started my career as an associate degree registered nurse in telemetry. I then transferred to labor and delivery which was my dream as a nursing student. After gaining some experience, I started teaching childbirth classes and my desire to further my education began. I received my MSN in nursing education and starting teaching registered nursing students. I wanted to further my expertise in women's health and continued my education for my women's health certificate. Being the course coordinator for the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program combines my love for teaching as well as my desire to continue to practice patient care.
I encourage you to visit the Women's Health NP webpage.
