Biography
After completing my BSN at Kent State University I quickly retained a job in the ICU setting at Select Hospital in Akron, OH. At this LTAC I strengthen my novice nursing knowledge and skills, then I took my new abilities to a thoracic/abdominal med/surg floor at Summa Health. In junction with working the floor, I have been a part-time member of the of the Kent State College of Nursing faculty since 2012. I have primarily taught students in the clinical setting. Most recently I received my MSN as a Nurse Educator in 2015. I joined the Kent State College of Nursing team full-time in January of 2016, where I continue to grow professionally through lecturing in the classroom and instructing in the lab and clinical.
