If you began a program and didn’t finish, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance to complete that degree program – or a different degree program at Kent State.
The Ohio Department of Higher Education and Kent State University are pleased to announce the Second Chance Grant Pilot Program. This grant is offered to encourage and assist students to return and complete their degrees. Qualifying students must have started their degree program at a qualifying college and have not attended for the past one to five years. The Second Chance Grant Pilot Program will provide a $2,000 grant to qualifying students to re-enroll at a qualifying institution to complete a degree program.
Economists indicate that increasing the number of Ohioans with completed degrees is essential for Ohio to remain economically competitive and meet the workforce needs of the future.
