Lauren B. Worley, '01, kickstarted her professional journey in public service and currently spearheads communications for Tampax at Procter & Gamble, the global leader in consumer goods.

Olivia (Semon) Carnbprobst’s (’22, ’23) journey from a high school junior at the Nikki Kukwa Memorial Aviation Camp (NKMAC) to a first officer at Endeavor Air epitomizes the camp's impact on young women's careers in aviation.

Dexter credits the hands-on learning experiences for preparing him for the real-world challenges of his career. In particular, the Materials and Processes class provided him with essential skills in machining, welding, and casting, which he later applied in various engineering roles.

From his very first visit to Kent State College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE), Ethan Duncan felt right at home. The allure of the campus and the immersive air traffic controllers resonated deeply and he felt an immediate sense of belonging and excitement for what lay ahead.

New Wave ’80s band Devo isn’t just from Ohio. Devo wasn’t just created in Akron. Devo was forged at Kent State University under the pressure of the turmoil of the late ’60s and the events surrounding May 4, 1970. Authors David Giffels and Jade Dellinger brought their book “The Beginning Was the End: Devo in Ohio” to Kent State for a book signing and discussion.
