The pathway from a two-year college to Kent State University will soon become an easier road to travel for Ohio students, thanks to a grant awarded to Kent State to collaborate with three Ohio community colleges to streamline the transfer process.

The Kent State University Alumni Association is proud to announce its 2019 Alumni Award recipients. Recipients are chosen based on their exceptional contributions in their chosen profession, in their communities and at Kent State.

FedEx Corp. has pledged $5 million, in addition to $1.5 million already given, in support of an aeronautics academic center that will be located at the Kent State University Airport. The new 17,800-square-foot building will be named the FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center.

Kent State University’s Giving Tuesday 2018 broke the million-dollar mark for the second year in a row.
