Events and Activities Requirements and Guidelines
- All scheduled events and activities must adhere to Ohio Department of Health, city and county guidelines, as well as university requirements.
- All scheduled events and activities must be registered through University Events and Conference Services and must follow all university event registration operational and procedures.
- Kent State University promotes a marketplace of ideas that provide for opportunities for noncommercial expressive activity on campus. Event registration of university facilities and grounds, as well as the unregistered non-exclusive use of university grounds, are provided for in policy 3342-5-12.4.
- All scheduled events and activities must be registered through University Events and Conference Services and must follow all university event registration operational and procedures.
- Use of Academic space will need to follow the campus event registration process through the University Events & Conference Services office. All academic classes will take precedent over an event.
- Use of Intercollegiate Athletics space will need to follow the campus event registration process through the University Events & Conferences Services office. All Intercollegiate Athletic events will take precedent over an event.
- Use of Recreational Services space will be registered with the Department of Recreational and Wellness Services.
