YOUR LOGIN DASHBOARD
A Drupal change was submitted on January 5 that altered ALL Drupal editor dashboards. Your dashboard changed in one of three ways:
- You see your profile photo with your name. This is just a new view. You do not need to make any changes.
- You no longer see your information on you dashboard. This is because you do not have a profile. To resolve:
- Create a profile for yourself. If you are a member of more than one group, you only need to create one profile.
- Proceed to your group’s home page. Be sure you are in editing mode (https:// must precede the web address).
- Select Profile from the Create Content menu to create a profile for yourself.
- Create a profile for yourself. If you are a member of more than one group, you only need to create one profile.
- You see another editor’s photo and name on your profile. This happens when you have your user name as the author of another person’s profile. It is likely that it was the first profile you created as an editor. To resolve:
- Remove yourself as their author.
- Navigate to that person’s profile. Be sure you are in editing mode (https:// must precede the web address).
- Select the Edit button.
- Remove your user name from the Author field (located in the tabbed area at the bottom).
- Create a profile for yourself. If you are a member of more than one group, you only need to create one profile.
- Proceed to your group’s home page. Be sure you are in editing mode (https:// must precede the web address).
- Select Profile from the Create Content menu to create a profile for yourself.
- Remove yourself as their author.
