25th Anniversary
With the celebration of Women’s History Month in March 2021, it seemed fitting that we would officially kick off our 25th anniversary. Throughout the remainder of the year, many celebrations took place including an “At The Table” conversation series and a culminating November Celebration.
Inspired by the Shirley Chisholm quote, ‘if you don’t have a seat at the table, bring a folding chair,’” we invite you to come together in conversation and community to nourish your souls and feed your passion. This event will bring important people in the history of the Women's Center to the table in conversation with students to talk about how far we have come...and how far we still have yet to go.
At The Table will be a monthly conversation series featuring intergenerational conversations across many different identities focusing on topics such as women and leadership, women and athletics, Art and Activism and more. Join us as we honor those who have paved the way and invest in those who are continuing the journey on the quest for equity and inclusion.
As a part of the 25th anniversary we are also raising $25,000 to honor our history and invest in the future. Please consider a $25 donation (or more) to help make it possible for us to continue to provide scholarship, initiatives, resources and opportunities to advocate for gender equity.
