Biography
Dr. Asantewa Sunni-Ali’s scholarship and artistic praxis explores the intersections of Black childhood, performance, agency, identity, and liberation. She is currently completing her first book manuscript and advances her work beyond the page through multimedia production, ethnographic documentation, and performance-based inquiry. She is the creator and executive director of Seedz of Revolution, a research-based multimedia platform through which she documents and amplifies cultural practices and revolutionary strategies as tools for manifesting liberated futures for African-descended and other marginalized communities.
