The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is the United States' oldest national advertising trade association. The AAF's annual American Advertising Awards (ADDY Awards) is the industry's largest competition meant to recognize creative excellence in advertising. The competition is conducted in local, district and national tiers. Kent State University's Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement has received several awards through the American Advertising Federation-Akron's local competition tier.
