Tropical Field Biology Course a Success!

David Smeltzer and Oscar Rocha successfully lead a faculty lead study abroad experience in Costa Rica.  This course included BSCI and JMC students who visited several locations in Costa Rica, including a dry forest, rainforest, cloud forest, and a coastal region. BSCI students conducted research projects in small teams while JMC students worked on videography or photography projects. This course is offered over winter break every other year.  If you would like more information please contact the Department of Biological Sciences or Dr. Rocha.
