Biography

Dr. Sanhita Gupta is Professor of Biological Sciences at KSU: Geauga where she teaches Basic Microbiology, Human Biology, Biological Foundations, Human Genetics, Life on Planet Earth, Lab Experiences in Biology.  Previous to Kent State, Dr. Gupta worked for Case Western Reserve University as a Research Scientist and the City of New Orleans as Research Scientist in Microbiology.  

 

Dr. Gupta possesses expertise in Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Genetics.  She earned her doctorate from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) and her Master of Science in Biochemistry from University of Calcutta (Calcutta, India).  In her classes, she enjoys interacting with the nursing students and assisting with practical hands-on activities in the laboratory.
