Debra Lamm
Biography
Debra is an art historian and higher education professional. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She holds a Master of Arts in Art History and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University. Debra has been at Kent State for over sixteen years as an adjunct lecturer and administrator where she is currently the Academic Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for the College of Architecture and Environmental Design.
Debra is passionate about student success and has written and presented research on successful matriculation strategies to four-year universities for dual enrollment and transfer students. Her academic research focuses on Gothic and Renaissance architecture and the hermeneutics of sacred spaces.
