Sara Brandner

Sara Brandner began her Construction Management career during her final undergraduate year working for the Office of the University Architect here at Kent State as the assistant project manager on the Esplanade Gateway project, connecting the campus to downtown Kent. She went on to work for Welty Building Company as a Project Engineer on the Akron Children’s Hospital Critical Care Tower project. This was a $240 million dollar project and also the first Integrated Lean Project Delivery method in the state of Ohio. She returned to the Office of the University Architect as a Project Manager for the Summit Street Improvements Project. In 2019 she began her teaching career in Construction Management at the CAED.
