Janice Johnson
Biography
Janice is a licensed mental health and substance use therapist. Janice joined CAPS in 2022 as the BIPOC focused mental health provider. In this role, she provides therapy services to students, with a focus on preventative outreach programming to educate BIPOC students and the campus community. Janice has clinical experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in community behavioral health agencies, providing individual and a variety of group therapies. She also has experience in clinical supervision and managing a substance use program for adolescents and adults, in addition to experience in facilitating trainings specific to substance use disorders.
