Graduation Cord Update (04/23/20)

Due to the continued closures as a result of COVID-19, we are unable to allow for in-person pickup of the education abroad cords prior to the virtual graduation ceremony on May 9th. Any cords that have been purchased from now until graduation will be mailed to your permanent address in Flashline at a later date. Any questions can be directed to Dr. Kristin Stasiowski, Assistant Dean of international Programs.

At the College of Arts & Sciences, we strongly recommend that all of our students study abroad at least once during their time at Kent State University. Regardless of your major, we will help you find a study abroad experience that meets your needs. Students in the College of Arts & Sciences can take advantage of study abroad opportunities all over the world.  We offer 21 programs in 13 countries, including our summer program in Florence, Italy. FLORENCE - SPRING, Summer & Fall

Kent State offers programs in Florence during the Spring and Fall semesters. Students take a minimum of 12 credits. Apply by Oct. 1 for Spring. There is also a Florence Summer Institute in June.
