Maddy Steward

Hello! My name is Maddy Steward and I'm a junior psychology and sociology double major. So far, I've studied abroad once during my undergraduate career, but would absolutely love to get to experience it again. I studied in Florence for the Fall 2016 semester and if I could have gone back for another semester I would have!

Being a psychology and sociology major, I like learning about people. I'm always curious about why people behave certain ways and how those behaviors translate through society so to get to experience a completely NEW society of people was beyond eye-opening. Not only was I intrigued by the new society I found myself in, I learned how confident and independent I could be. Traveling to other European countries or simply learning my way around Florence showed me just what I was capable of. By the end of four months I felt like I could take anything that the world threw at me.

Study abroad is an experience unlike anything else I've encountered during college. You can learn and grow so much from just a few short weeks in a different country and I would love to help you achieve that.
