Mortuary Science Pathway - A.T.S.
The College of Applied and Technical Studies at Kent State University is collaborating with the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (CCMS), the nation’s leading funeral service educator, to offer an Associate of Technical Studies degree with a a direct pathway for students to seamlessly matriculate their Kent State general education credits to the on-site CCMS Bachelor of Mortuary Science program. The following coursework is tailored to meet CCMS's prerequisite requirements.
Associate of Technical Study, Individualized Program to Bachelor of Mortuary Science
Semester One

- ACTT 11000 Accounting 1: Financial2 - 4 credits

1 MATH 10675, MATH 11009, MATH 11010, MATH 11012, MATH 12002, MATH 12011, or MATH 12021 are prerequisites for CHEM 10050. MATH 10040 or MATH 10041 or minimum C grade in MATH 10772 or MATH 10775 or any course between MATH 11009 to MATH 49998 are prerequisites for CHEM 10055.

Graduation Requirements
Requirements to graduate with the Associate of Technical Study (ATS) degree: To graduate, students must have minimum 60 credit hours, a minimum 2.000 major GPA and minimum 2.000 cumulative GPA.
