Digital Accessibility
We work to ensure that the Kent State you experience on your phone or laptop is as easy to navigate, understand, and appreciate as our physical campuses.
For everyone. Everywhere. Every time.
Defining "Technology"
Struggling to know whether a product you're preparing to purchase qualifies as "Kent State Technology" and warrants a review by the Digital Accessibility Team? We get it. The (digital) lines are blurrier than ever. We're here to help you make sure ALL products are EQUALLY ACCESSIBLE by all users.
We review your product. We educate you. You make an informed purchasing decision.
The Team
Residing in Stewart Hall within the Systems Development & Innovation Department, the D.A. team works to improve the accessibility of Kent State University's digital footprint, primarily focusing on the kent.edu domain, learning management systems, purchasing review process and training content creators.
Equal Access
Accessibility-focused initiatives and efforts led by cross-divisional partners. Current partners include Student Accessibility Services, University Communications & Marketing, and Human Resources.
