• Cost: Estimated at $2,500.00 per student (Includes round trip airfare, accommodations, lodgings, and most meals. Please note that tuition is separate from the cost of the trip.)

Program Overview

• Explore how indigenous peoples (Northern Cheyenne) build, teach, and learn in communities characterized by familial ties and support that are both connected to the natural world and still burdened by historical trauma
• Gain a more thorough understanding of the history and culture of the Northern Cheyenne tribe, and how lessons learned from them can be applied in other pedagogical contexts
• Apply and more fully develop understandings of indigenous thinking through participating in a community service project at the Northern Cheyenne reservation
• Visit and hike in Yellowstone National Park
