Györgyi Mihályi has received the Distinguished Service Award by the Journal of International Students.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes exemplary achievements and contributions to research on international students through excellent leadership and dedicated service. It is presented in recognition of execptional commitment to the journal and a significant contribution to the field of international education.
A doctoral student in the Higher Education Administration program, Györgyi also serves as the assistant director of marketing at the Wick Poetry Center and International Programs and Education Abroad in the College of Arts and Sciences.
She holds an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration with an Internationalization certificate from Kent State University, as well as a BA in English Literature from the University of Szeged, and a BA in Business Administration from Kent State University. Györgyi hails from Szeged, Hungary.
