Visiting artists and scholars from all over the country come to Kent State to give presentations on their work throughout the school year. The 12th annual Main Street Kent Art and Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, June 2, from noon-9 p.m. in downtown Kent. The event is presented by Main Street Kent, and proceeds will benefit this nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, beautification and preservation of downtown Kent. The Art and Wine Festival will feature local artists, a variety of live entertainment and several Ohio wineries at the Hometown Bank Plaza and surrounding streets.

The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
