CAED Lecture Series: Rhett Russo

Join the College of Architecture and Environmental Design for the Spring 2026 Lecture Series as Rhett Russo presents “Ceramicology". Rhett Russo is an artist, designer, and educator whose work explores ceramic material systems at the intersection of architecture, technology, and craft. He has over 25 years of teaching experience at leading institutions including Columbia University GSAPP, SCI-Arc, PennDesign, Pratt Institute, and Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently on faculty at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A three-time resident at the European Ceramic Workcentre, Rhett’s work has been exhibited internationally and recognized with awards from the Architectural League of New York, Van Alen Institute, SOM, and the Taiwan Ceramics Biennale. He holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University.
