Are you ready to apply to the Kent State University New York City Fashion program? We’d love to have you and here are the details of the process to get you on your way to experiencing it for yourself.
CURRENT KSU STUDENTS
If you are currently enrolled as a student at Kent State University and are interested in studying at New York City Fashion, please contact your advisor.
ELIGIBILITY
If you are a Design or Merchandising major, you will need to complete the required 20000 level FDM courses prior to attending the New York City Fashion program. You will also need to have at least a cumulative GPA of 2.5 by the commitment contract and program fee deadlines.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Contact your advisor
- Ask them to confirm your eligibility
- Complete the Pre-Approval Application
- After your Pre-Approval Application has been reviewed and confirmed, you will receive instructions for completing the Commitment Contract – a formal agreement confirming your intent to participate in the New York City Fashion study away program.
- After we receive your Commitment Contract you will need to pay the Program Fee, which must be done online with a credit card.
To secure your spot in the program, both the Commitment Contract and Program Fee must be completed by the appropriate deadlines. If you submit the Pre-Approval Application form and are accepted into the program, but fail to submit the Commitment Contract and Program Fee by the appropriate deadline, you will be dropped from the program.
