The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) invites both individual and session registration for the 36th Annual Graduate Research Symposium “Post-Pandemic?: Reflect, Reimagine, Reemerge and Research” which will be held on April 7-8, 2022, at the Kent State Student Center. Registration opens January 17, 2022 and closes January 31, 2022. Please click here to register & submit a proposal for ONE presentation (poster, oral, or performance) or if you are a session organizer/chair, register ONCE for all members of your oral session. For session organizers, please note that you'll need all co-presenter information to register your session.

Though scheduling cannot begin until after registration closes, here are some schedule basics to help you plan. Poster presentations and art installations will take place in the morning on April 7, fine arts performances will take place in the evening on April 7, and all oral presentations/sessions will take place during the morning of April 8. The Keynote address and luncheon will take place at 12 noon on April 7 and the awards ceremony will take place in the afternoon on April 8.

We are glad to share that Professor Tara Smith will deliver the keynote address: “Lessons Learned from the COVID-19 Pandemic” at this year’s symposium. See attached flier for more information.

Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your graduate work and research and win awards in the largest symposium of graduate research at Kent State University. Please note that an outstanding presenter of each session receives the best presentation award.
