Audition Materials for Kent State Bands and Orchestra Available

Fall 2021 audition placement materials and information for the Kent State University Bands and Orchestra are now available to view and download on our Instrumental Ensemble Auditions page. As in past semesters, brass, woodwind and percussionists only need to audition once for placement in Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band and/or Orchestra. 

All ensembles are open to any undergraduate and graduate student enrolled at Kent State University regardless of major. Additionally, current high school students may be able to participate in our ensembles via the College Credit Plus program. 

Placement audition dates are currently set for the first two weeks of the fall 2021 semester, including August 26, 27 and 28. They are anticipated to be in-person. Additional dates will be announced at a later time if needed.
