Who Needs to Audition?
- Undergraduate Students: Students interested in pursuing any Bachelor of Music (B.M.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) programs need to audition in their major performance medium (voice or instrument).
- Graduate Students: Students interested in pursuing a Master of Music (M.M.) in Performance in all concentration areas needs to audition/interview for admission to their program of choice. Students wishing to pursue an M.M. in instrumental or voice performance will audition for the M.M. Performance without concentration. Composition and conducting students will audition for the concentration specific to those areas.
- Music Minors: Jazz Studies Minors and Music Minors who wish to explore the possibility of taking applied lessons need to audition in their performance medium. Those Music Minors who do not wish to take private lessons and World Music Minors do not need to audition for admission to that minor.
