Glauser School of Music Offers Teachers Professional Development Opportunities Summer 2022

This summer, Kent State’s Glauser School of Music to offer three intensive workshops focussed on Orff, Jazz and Dalcroze. The workshops are part of the School of Music’s and Music Education Division’s continued commitment to providing accessible professional development opportunities for educators across the country. It’s the third summer since 2019 that the Glauser School has hosted these kinds of workshops, with a single-summer hiatus due to the pandemic.

Offerings for 2022 include:

Orff Levels 1, 2, 3
June 27-July 2 and July 5-8

Jazz Pedagogy & Performance
July 11-15
Kent State Faculty: Instructors: Bobby Selvaggio and Sam Al-Hadid

Dalcroze Eurhythmics
July 18-22
Guest Instructors: David Frego and Marla Butke
