"Nine Lives Project" Goes International In May

Jazz Studies faculty member Chris Coles' "Nine Lives Project" was recently accepted as the subject of a roundtable discussion for a virtual conference in Dublin, Ireland. The discussion, hosted by Chris Coles, fellow Jazz Studies faculty member Theron Brown, and other collaborators, will center on the work as a means of protest, self-reflection and action. 

 Its presentation is part of the Annual Plenary Conference of the Society for Musicology in Ireland & the Irish Chapter of the International Council for Traditional Music. The conference is free and open to all who would like to virtually attend.
