IN A FLASH: When the Bough Breaks

Several areas on Kent State University's Kent Campus show damage from high winds that accompanied storms that swept across northeast Ohio on Thursday. There were tornado warnings in the area as wind gusts in Kent were measured at 80 mph.

This tree fell on The Commons, near the Victory Bell.

Trees fell on Front Campus and on the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and there was extensive damage to the granite May 4 Memorial.
