The Student Venture Funds were established to help support student-initiated businesses that have been approved by the John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship. The Venture Assessment Grant is geared toward students with a proposed business while the Venture Growth Grant is intended for students that have a completed business plan, feasibility analysis and are committed to launching the venture.

Are there any prerequisites or other requirements needed to register for the digital transformation business workshop series?
No, our online business workshop series is open to any managers, entrepreneurs, consultants, and other professionals looking to sharpen their digital transformation skills or increase the longevity of their organization.

Who are the instructors?
Four instructors are industry executives with significant experience and expertise. One is a faculty member at Kent State with significant consulting experience in digital transformation for international companies.
How long do the business workshops take?
Since our workshops are offered in an online, asynchronous format, the curriculum is structured so that you can take it at your own pace, and students can register at any time. Each business workshop includes approximately 15 hours of content, such as presentations, videos, and readings, provided directly from the instructor.
From there, students typically take 20-40 hours to complete the coinciding assignments for the online business workshops.
How will these workshops be delivered?
The workshops are delivered online in an asynchronous mode. They include about 15 hours of your instructor’s recordings, presentations, videos, and other media. The assignments will require students to upload documents and recordings.
