Lake Erie College reports that Jennifer Schuller, MED ’02, Newton Falls, OH and EHHS grad, will be named next president of Lake Erie College. Currently serving as Vice President for Advancement, Schuller has more than 20 years of experience in higher education with expertise in the areas of advancement and enrollment. Alison Caplan has been selected as the new director of Kent State University's May 4 Visitors Center.

After a national search, Alison Caplan has been selected as the new director of Kent State University’s May 4 Visitors Center, a museum that tells the story of the shootings at Kent State on May 4, 1970, set in the context of the 1960s. Caplan currently serves as director of education at the National First Ladies’ Library in Canton, Ohio. She will begin at Kent State on July 18. HONORS

The Honors in Florence program is designed to offer Honors College students uniquely challenging and engaging experiences in this remarkable and vibrant historic setting. Students will gain an international perspective and learn about other cultures through a variety of curricular offerings and educational travel opportunities tailored for them. Students studying in Florence who complete the Honors Study Away Contract will receive three Honors credit hours for meeting all the contract requirements.
