Commencement ceremonies were held May 9 for the Kent State Columbiana County campuses during which degrees were awarded to graduates from the East Liverpool and Salem campuses.Presiding over the ceremonies were Denise A. The Kent State University alumni family grew by more than 4,800 new graduates from its eight-campus system across Ohio following spring commencement ceremonies.In total, 4,857 degrees were conferred this spring, consisting of 584 associate degrees, 3,104 bachelor’s degrees, 978 master’s degrees, 180 doctoral degrees and 11 educational specialist degrees.
