THE ERIK HEIDEMANN SCHOLARSHIP

The Erik Heidemann Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a total of three graduate and undergraduate students in the department of Political Science. Dr. Erik Heidemann was a colleague in the department who proved to be a stellar teacher, a committed scholar and an active member of the department during his short time with us. He passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 3, 2013. His parents Marlinda and David Heidemann created this scholarship as a memorial to their son, to support both the undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Political Science.
