  • Evidence-based – statements about topics (e.g., educational streaming) that are backed by research literature to support claims.
  • Live streaming platforms – digital outlets that allow users to stream to their members.
  • Public streaming – the practice of streaming activities of any kind on digital platforms open to the public (e.g., Twitch.tv).
  • Streamer – someone who streams their own live videos on live streaming platforms

David Kaplan, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Geography in the College of Arts and Sciences at Kent State University, was recently named a fellow of the American Association of Geographers (AAG) in recognition for his significant contributions to advancing geography. The honorary title of AAG Fellow is conferred for life and is reserved for a small fraction of the membership who help to address, contribute to, and at times create initiatives to advance the discipline. CAE Faculty Finds Repeated Success in SURE Program and 3MT Competition

 In October 2022, five College of Aeronautics and Engineering students competed in Kent State University's Undergraduate Three Minute Thesis competition. Each student’s project was completed during the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE), a summer term research program for KSU students.
