At the Florence Center, students can choose from a diverse array of courses approved by Kent State University colleges and academic departments.

All majors are welcome and course offerings cover many academic areas at both undergraduate and graduate level.

If a full semester abroad doesn’t feel realistic for you, there are additional opportunities to study in Florence during the summer and spring break.  You can choose the program and the length of time that suits you best.

A local team of over 40 experts supports over 800 KSU students every year, making Kent State Florence the largest Kent State education abroad program and the largest American program in the city.

You’ll be assisted throughout the whole education abroad process (e.g., flights, housing, travel documents, etc.) and you’ll benefit from comprehensive orientations before you depart and when you arrive in Italy to prepare you for life in your new city.
