With great hope and expectations for the future of brain health research at Kent State University, President Beverly J. Warren introduced Michael N. Lehman, Ph.D., as the inaugural director of the university’s Brain Health Research Institute on Feb. 25. Nursing students at Kent State Trumbull are putting their best foot forward, hoping to promote healthy lifestyles in the Mahoning Valley. Members of Kent State Trumbull’s Student Nurses Association (SNA) recently launched the ”Walk and Talk with a Nurse” program at the Niles Wellness Center. From 9-11 a.m. on the second and fourth Monday of every month, students will join members of the Wellness Center to participate in a variety of physical activities. The Kent State University at Tuscarawas Engineering Technology Department held the Regional Bridge Building Competition for area high school students on Feb. 21, 2019. Students participated from the following schools: Buckeye Career Center, Dover High School, Garaway High School, Indian Valley High School, New Philadelphia High School, Strasburg High School and Tuscarawas Valley High School.   Over 200 bridges were submitted with 168 students participating.
