Kent State University President Beverly J. Warren, emeritus artist and educator of Pan-African Studies E. Timothy Moore and head football coach Sean Lewis will serve as the guest speakers at the Fall 2018 Bowman Breakfast. The semi-annual Bowman Breakfast, which began in 1963, brings together leaders from Kent State and the city of Kent in a forum designed to advance community issues and strengthen the town-gown relationship. The Student Multicultural Center (SMC) has had an exciting start to the Fall Semester! We welcomed 275 students to participate in our Kupita/Transiciones program. The students shared their experiences and mentioned they felt they belonged to Kent State and that they had a family within the Student Multicultural Center’s staff, student leaders, and participants. Kent State Trumbull nurses support the community following a crisis at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. Kent State Trumbull’s Student Nurses Association (SNA) set up collection bins around campus and asked students, staff and faculty to donate new or gently used toys and books for the Rescue Mission. “The Student Nurses Association is focusing on our community this year.
