Two Kent State professors partnered with the Summit County Juvenile Court and Hands of Gratitude over the summer to teach juveniles how to assemble prosthetic hands for children in Central America. Kristy Pytash and Lisa Testa, both associate professors in Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies, received a grant to do the three-week program last summer in the Summit county detention center.
