Nancy Mackey, a senior horticulture student at Kent State University at Salem, recently received the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association scholarship. Mackey was one of 17 students from across the state to receive the scholarship, valued at $1,000, and the only student from Kent State University. The ONLA awards scholarships each year to Ohio green industry students.
