The 2019 Ohio Latino Education Summit broke the record for registration numbers when Kent State University hosted it for the first time in November. Dean Kahler was one of the nine students wounded in the May 4, 1970, shootings at Kent State University that also claimed the lives of four students during protests of the Vietnam War. Kahler has been paralyzed from the waist down ever since he was wounded; however, his tragedy has not stopped him from living his life to the fullest. In addition to infertility, PCOS increases the risk of type 2 diabetes and other metabolic disorders—and there is no cure.
