Kent State University student Nahuel Gorostiza, a freshman digital sciences major, is now the United Nations (U.N.) Youth Delegate of Argentina. Voting in Argentina Gorostiza was born in Argentina and lived there until starting college last fall at Kent State. He had always been interested in politics and played an influential role in the recent presidential election in Argentina, which helped him qualify as a youth delegate. Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed a new trustee to the Kent State University Board of Trustees. Kasich named Robin Kilbride of Wadsworth, Ohio, to a nine-year term as a trustee. Kent State University at Salem was well-represented earlier this month at the Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists annual education seminar by students who competed, as well as by faculty and staff members who helped organize the event.
