Vietnam Cultural Café

Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at noon for the first Cultural Café of the semester! This month, the Office of Global Education will host two representatives from Vietnam. After an insightful presentation about Vietnam followed by a Q&A session with the representatives, attendees will enjoy a free lunch featuring a selection of dishes from Vietnam. Kent State Soccer announces 2026 summer camps for youth players

Kent State Soccer will host its annual Summer Soccer Camps this June, offering full-day and half-day camps. We will also be offering goalkeeper clinics. The camps are designed to develop technical skills, tactical awareness, and a love for the game in a fun, competitive environment led by Kent State coaches and staff. Town & Gown Tidbit: Bent Tree Coffee

Bent Tree Coffee is Kent's only coffee roaster and was started in 2011 by two Kent State graduates who wanted to bring small-batch, artisan coffee to their hometown. They're open seven days a week at their downtown Kent cafe, where their roasters and baristas can help you find the perfect bag of coffee or grab a seasonal drink and fresh-baked pastry. You'll also find them on campus at the Kent State Business Building and Student Center, or at over 80 grocery stores throughout Northeast Ohio.

Kent Campus Spring 2026 biometric screenings announced

The Employee Wellness team is pleased to announce that the Spring 2026 biometric screening dates have been scheduled. View the complete list of dates and additional information on the Wellness website, and be sure to register for your appointment using the BeWell Portal. Please also note that screenings will no longer take place in Heer Hall and will now be held in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center seminar rooms.

Kent State rode a dominant first half to defeat Western Michigan 73-66 Thursday night, securing their spot in the Mid-American Conference tournament semifinals.The Golden Flashes (22-10, 11-7 MAC) built a commanding 43-25 halftime lead and withstood a second-half rally from the Broncos (12-20, 9-9 MAC) at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.Marquis Barnett led Kent State with 18 points, while Jalen Sullinger and Cian Medley each contributed 13 points.
