Faculty & Staff International Awards Reception

The Office of Global Education and the EPC Internationalization Advisory Committee would like to invite faculty and staff to attend the Faculty and Staff International Awards Reception on Feb. 13, from 5 - 6:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center’s Schwebel Room. The reception will celebrate international education efforts at Kent State and honor the awardees for the inaugural International Innovator Awards and the Innovative International Grants Projects. Light refreshments will be provided.

GENERAL ELECTIVE CREDIT

General elective credit is available to freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors through course BUS 20192 or BUS 40192.

Why apply for general elective credit?

  • You do not meet the qualifications for major credit, above
  • You only need elective credits to fulfill graduation requirements

MAJOR CREDIT

In order to receive major credit for your internship:

  • You must have at least junior standing (60+ credit hours)
  • Meet the course prerequisites
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Be declared in the major for which credit is sought

Your internship experience must be approved for major credit by your faculty internship coordinator at the time of application.

GRADUATE STUDENTS

Please select the appropriate course for your degree program (listed below). At the time of your offer, you must apply for faculty approval to enroll in the internship course. To determine how the course will apply to your program, please contact your graduate advisor. International Students on an F-1 Student Visa must have work authorization to legally work in an internship in the United States. Please use "STEPS TO APPLY" below and then begin the CPT visa process.
