Welcoming Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Jeremy Bullock

Jeremy W. Bullock is an internationally recognized composer and musician based in Los Angeles. His engagement at Kent State spans both the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters, bringing together students and faculty from the School of Music and the School of Theatre and Dance in an extended interdisciplinary collaboration that will culminate in Kent State’s spring 2027 production of “Romeo and Juliet.” Bullock will hold a public screening of two short films, “Governors Island” and “St. Joseph” on Wednesday, October 28th at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium at the Design Innovation Hub.

AI Training from Google available now

Kent State University Information Technology is hosting two virtual, Google-led training workshops on Nov. 6 to help faculty and staff leverage AI and automation for campus operations. The first session, "Unlocking Operational Power: Practical Google AI & Gemini Notebook," runs from 10-11 a.m. with Dr. Jason Hilt demonstrating practical administrative workflows within Google Workspace. Dr. Kathy Siesel Dr. Siesel started her journey with KSUCPM as a 1989 graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM). Subsequent residency and fellowship programs with OCPM and the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic (CFAC) lead her to the start of her career as a part-time clinical faculty member in 1991.
