Staying up late and braving the chilly overnight temperatures, Michael Gershe, senior advisor II in Kent State's College of Aeronautics and Engineering took photos of the "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse that occurred from about 1 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. on March 14. An evening with Wil Haygood
Nationally acclaimed author and journalist Wil Haygood will speak at Kent State on Thursday, Nov. 12, presenting The Vietnam War and the American Military: Patriotism, Service, and the American Experience. The evening will begin with a 4 p.m. book signing for "The War Within a War: The Black Struggle in Vietnam and at Home" at the University Bookstore, followed by the program at 6 p.m. in the Kiva Auditorium (doors open at 5:30 p.m.).
