Ashtabula Campus Trunk or Treat

The Kent State University at Ashtabula Student Nurses Association (SNA) will host a community-wide Trunk-or-Treat on campus on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 5-7 p.m. in the Robert S. Morrison Hall west parking lot. The event is open to everyone in the Ashtabula community and children are welcome to dress up for this trick-or-treat “trial run”. Members of the campus community are volunteering to set up decorated “trunks” for display and for passing out treats, with a prize going to the best decorated trunk. Robert S. Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapter Halloween Cemetery Tour

Join us Saturday, Oct. 28, at Noon for a Halloween cemetery tour! You'll walk through the Lake View Cemetery and visit its most famous graves sites, including Wade Chapel and more! Enjoy an afternoon experiencing the breathtaking views and learning Cleveland's great history. The event will cover approximately 1-1.5 miles of walking over the course of 90 to 120 minutes. Plus, proceeds from the event support the Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapter Scholarship.

Kent State’s School of Media and Journalism (MDJ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mizell Stewart III as professional-in-residence. Earlier this year, Stewart served as the keynote speaker for MDJ’s annual David and Janet Dix Lecture in Media Ethics. Three-Minute SURE Presentations

 

Join us as the participants of this year's Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) present their research work to students, faculty and staff at Kent State University. 

The presentations will be held on Monday, October 16th and Tuesday, October 17th from 1 – 2:15 and 2:30 – 3:45 pm. in the Kent Student Center with judges convening 15 minutes prior to the beginning of a session. The award ceremony will be held on Monday, September 23rd at 3 p.m. in 218 KSC.
