The Kent State University Health Center no longer provides treatment for work-related injuries for Kent Campus employees. University Hospitals Urgent Care is now available as a convenient option for initial workplace injury treatment. If you're injured at work, notify your supervisor immediately and complete the required accident report within 24 hours. Employees who receive medical treatment must also complete a First Report of Injury to begin the workers' compensation claim process. Employees may receive initial treatment from any healthcare provider. However, follow-up care for workers' compensation claims must be provided by a provider certified by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC).
