Bent Tree Coffee is Kent's only coffee roaster and was started in 2011 by two Kent State graduates who wanted to bring small-batch, artisan coffee to their hometown. They're open seven days a week at their downtown Kent cafe, where their roasters and baristas can help you find the perfect bag of coffee or grab a seasonal drink and fresh-baked pastry. You'll also find them on campus at the Kent State Business Building and Student Center, or at over 80 grocery stores throughout Northeast Ohio. Their coffee is roasted everyday in small batches, so whether you're picking up coffee at their cafe, on campus, or at your local grocery store, you know it's fresh.
