Open Enrollment and Wellness Fairs 2023
The first Open Enrollment and Wellness Fair will be hosted at Kent Campus on Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. See below for regional campus dates and locations.
The Fair is an opportunity for employees to learn more about the benefits available to them. The Employee Benefits and Wellness teams, as well as representatives from the university's various benefits providers, will be present to answer questions.
About Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment is Oct. 16 - Nov. 3. Each year in the fall, benefits-eligible employees may select and make changes to their health coverage plans based on their needs and the needs of their family. Outside a qualifying life event, this will be the only window during which such changes may be made. Note that all benefits-eligible employees are strongly encouraged to go through Open Enrollment as some benefits selections do not carry over without the employee's annual approval.
Be on the lookout for the annual Open Enrollment informational video, which will be released Oct. 13.
Flu Vaccines at the Kent Campus
Kent State’s DeWeese Health Center will be hosting the flu clinic at the Kent campus Open Enrollment Fair on Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Click here to register and fill out paperwork online before your visit, and then show up the day of the event to get the shot. Walk-ins are also welcome!
Biometric Screenings and Regional Campus Flu Vaccines
Wellness partner BeWell will be hosting biometric screenings at all of the Open Enrollment Fairs, and both biometric screenings and flu vaccine clinics for each of the regional campuses. Sign up for your flu shot and biometric screening via the BeWell portal.
First-time users should follow the Be Well portal login instructions to create a wellness account and sign up for flu shots and biometric screenings.

Please Note: All vaccines, including the Flu and COVID-19 vaccines, are covered only under your medical plan through Medical Mutual of Ohio.
